Our first project on this lakeside residence was to create a small stone overlook patio capturing the wonderful long southern view down Lake Champlain. Along with this, we replaced railroad tie lake shore access with natural stone step slabs laid in a comfortable and meandering arrangement. Our clients, who are active outdoors people, loved the results and asked us back when the opportunity arose to relocate the neighborhood road. With new space to work with and more privacy afforded by the road moving, we created a front entry path, associated naturalistic plantings, landscape lighting, and wonderful shrub borders.
